Kaze (風) carries the meaning of “Wind”
—a flow that connects, moves, and inspires.
Ongaku (音楽) means “Music”
—the joy of creating and sharing your own sound.

Together, Kaze Ongaku embodies the harmony of wind and music, where every note rides the breeze to reach and connect people.
Kaze Ongaku LLP was born from the wish to let our music travel on those cherished winds—carrying our sound to hearts, and sharing it with the world.

Chie Nishikori, founder of Kaze Ongaku, has devoted her life to the voice of wind instruments since the age of eight.
What began with a simple Alto Horn grew into a lifelong journey across the Tuba, Euphonium, Trombone, and Trumpet—each instrument shaping her path and deepening her passion.
Her story is one of dedication, discovery, and the belief that music can cross borders and connect hearts.
When she arrived in India in 2012,
she was struck by how rare wind instruments were in the local music scene.
Traveling across the country, she performed and collaborated with Indian musicians—each encounter met with heartfelt appreciation.
Audiences embraced not only the warm, resonant voice of brass, but also the spirit of Japanese culture she carried with her: a spirit of thoughtful manners, care, and connection.

Guided by decades of experience, she envisioned
a future where music serves as a bridge between India and Japan—strengthening cross-cultural ties, inspiring collaboration, and creating harmony that transcends borders.
