Breath Control
Breathing in and out may seem simple, but it is the very foundation of playing a brass instrument.
What truly matters is whether you are using proper diaphragmatic breathing, whether you feel connected with your instrument, and whether you can picture your sound flying straight and steady like an airplane.
In fact, about 80% of brass playing comes down to these fundamentals and the images you create in your mind.
